Desiree Vatter

Hi, I’m Desiree. I have a pretty amazing husband (just ask him) and I’m a mother to 3 children, a golden retriever, 2 bee colonies, and several chickens. Three years ago, I walked away from my desk job wearing the biggest smile I’ve ever worn, and now I’m living my dream job as a Stay at Home Mom, infusing my days with everything I’ve imagined!

I’m super passionate about health and all things natural. Unprocessed. Clean. Real. Why? Because I believe we were designed to live and function optimally off the planet and its resources, not synthetics. I make a conscious effort to avoid synthetic and unnatural additives in our products and foods.  I wont claim perfection, but I do strive to maintain a naturally inclined lifestyle for myself and my family.

I make my family’s body care products including lotion, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, sunscreen, etc.. OK, I only make my own deodorant and toothpaste – but if my husband was on board…

I buy real food. I make real food. I love real food. By ‘real’ I mean earth provided and minimally processed.   I really like to focus on organic or pastured meats & dairy, vegetables, fruits, nuts & legumes, maple syrup, raw honey, dates, and gluten free grains.

I’m also super interested in herbs and botanicals and enjoy crafting herbal applications and remedies. I have successfully completed Rosemary Gladstar’s online herbal study program titled The Science and Art of Herbalism. I am currently studying with the Herbal Academy and have also completed The Herbal Academy’s Herbal Entrepreneur Course in hopes to start my own small home business.  As an herbal enthusiast, I will use this blog to share inspiring information and tutorials on using herbs and implementing nature into your life. Connecting to nature, reaping its energy, and sensing gratitude are things I consider essential for a happy and healthy life!

Thank you for your interest, I hope you enjoy Life Infused!

PLEASE NOTE:  Although I study herbs I am not a Clinical Herbalist. I am not a Doctor or Nutritionist.
